547 Candler
Removed existing roof and increased the pitch to gain more usable headroom/floorspace for an office/guest bedroom, full bath, loft and walk-in attic storage/craft space. Major renovation with small addition on the back of house to allow for screened in porch and the upstairs office. Expanded and redesigned, skylight lit, double height kitchen space with stairway and open to new loft space. Renovated existing full bath and added a new master bath suite with closet. Foam insulation at the roofline and any new or opened up walls, foam insulation at the foundation perimeter and encapsulated crawlspace for clean, dry and insulated space. Extensive cleaning of existing brick veneer and reworking of mortar joints. Client added photovoltaic solar array to roof after completion of project.


















531 Hardendorf

Design and Construction of an expansive crawlspace/basement into a playrooom, laundry, powder room, guest bedroom, full bath and office/bedroom with a reworked stair to connect it with the main floor of the house.






630 Oakdale
Design for carport addition, added rear sunroom living space, master bath and master closet. Really a "makeover" for a house with some interesting existing elements that were accentuated and improved upon on an incredibly challenging triangular site.




296 Vickers
Design and Construction of a speculative property in Druid Hills neighborhood. Original intent was to use existing exterior walls, but rot and other discovered issues during demolition only allowed use of only existing foundation. A little sticky at times getting through the historic review board, but in the end was asked to be held up as an exemplary project. A lot of house in a small package






350 Ferguson
Design and most of the way through Construction. The existing roof was removed and space for an office, laundry, and master suite was created under new roofline. First floor reworked and added onto a little for a redone kitchen and living area, a rear screened porch with a fireplace and space was created for stairwell to new upstairs. Foam insulation in roofline, exposed walls and crawlspace.







1342 Iverson
Construction and upgraded Design of a brand new Candler Park home built after demolition of a structure lost to fire damage. Client direction and upgrading of interior elements and trim in the arts and crafts style led to a house that is truly a showpiece. Features river rock fireplace, stained red oak trim in the Stickley style and a huge rear, screened in exterior room.























1096 McLynn

Construction and some Design for the removal of existing roof for addition of full second floor to accommodate nursery/child's room and master suite. Features a dramatic, double height, vaulted space which has a catwalk that connects upstairs rooms to stairs and each other and overlooks the kitchen.






















228 Greenwood

Construction of an addition and partial renovation of a Decatur home. Added a master suite and renovated existing kitchen.







755 East Morningside
Construction and Design of some elements of a house built originally as a duplex in Morningside neighborhood. Demolished existing structure down to subfloor. Dramatic two storey, vaulted great room and dining room which opens to rear "courtyard" pool which is bounded by attached carriage house and garage.






553 Candler
Construction and Design of some elements of a major second floor addition and renovation of Candler Park home. Removed existing roof, added full second floor with playroom, two kids' rooms, full bath, laundry and master suite that opens onto covered porch. Reworked and renovated kitchen, downstairs bath and redid fireplaces. All new energy saving replacement window sashes throughout, foam insulation at roofline, upstairs walls, in any exposed existing walls and in crawlspace.
